New Dental Patient Information Carrollton
Dental Visits Don’t Have to Be Stressful

At All Smiles Dental of Carrollton, our helpful and experienced team welcomes your questions and will always be available to assist you in understanding your insurance coverage, treatment plan, or any diagnoses. Below, we’ve included some key information to get you started, including what you can expect at your first visit and some information about financing and our in-house dental membership plan. If you still have any lingering questions, be sure to give us a call!
Your First Visit

The first time you call us, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly front desk staff who will conduct a quick interview, allowing us to get a better idea of what you need out of your dental appointment, your contact information, and a few other key details. Once your appointment is scheduled, our team will send you a link to fill out your new patient paperwork ahead of time online, or you can do so in our waiting area, whichever works best for you.
During your initial visit, we focus on learning what is important to you. We want to hear about any concerns or questions you have. You can count on us to be open and honest with you as well, whether it’s about the condition of your oral health, recommendations for treatment or details about financial matters. We want to build a relationship based on trust.
To get a thorough picture of your oral health, we rely on you to tell us about:
- Your medical health history that alerts us to any health conditions that can impact your oral health
- Your dental history and concerns
- Your sleep patterns
On our end, we use a combination of technology and skills to assess the condition of your teeth and gums:
- Thorough examination which includes periodontal evaluation
- Cone beam CT scan to view your airway and gain a detailed understanding of your facial anatomy
- Digital X-rays to detect tooth decay, tooth position and jaw structure
- Diagnostic photos to see tiny details that are not visible on X-rays
After visiting us, you can expect to have a clear understanding of the condition of your oral health and any recommended treatments we make moving forward. Before you leave, our front desk staff will schedule any future appointments and check you out.
Patient Forms

Most patients prefer to fill out their new patient forms before their first appointment. It speeds things up for you when you arrive, and it also allows you to “remember” everything you wanted to include on the forms.

Dental Insurance

For your convenience, we accept most PPO dental insurance plans and will process your claims. Although we are not in a contractual arrangement with any insurance company, we work to make sure you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. We collect information about your specific insurance benefits to create an estimate of how much we expect your plan to help pay for your visit. We are proud to report that usually, insurance companies pay exactly what we predict. However, due to the complexities of policies and coverage, we cannot guarantee that insurance will pay our estimated amount each time.
Please understand that you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of how much your insurance covers. At all times, you can be sure that we will provide you with our best services without regard to any limitations imposed by your insurance coverage.
The courteous staff at All Smiles Dental of Carrollton are available during office hours to answer your questions about dental insurance.
In-House Dental Membership Plan

Are you uninsured? Then our in-house dental membership plan was made for you. For a set annual fee, you will receive all of your basic preventive care for the year, including your two checkups and cleanings. It’s much simpler to use than dental insurance because you won’t have to worry about waiting periods, maximums, or deductibles.
