Read more about some of the high-tech devices our office features below.

Digital Impressions

Dental impressions are traditionally taken using a mouth tray overflowing with gag-inducing putty. While it gets the job done, it’s not comfortable for the patient and there’s more room for error. Our digital impression system allows us to capture a digital, 3D blueprint of your mouth that we can send over to our dental laboratory (or our in-house milling machine or 3D printer) quickly. It’s also more accurate, allowing us to make sure your restorations are crafted to perfection.

One-Visit CEREC Dental Crowns & Restorations

Our digital impression system, CAD/CAM software, and CEREC in-house milling machine all come together to allow you to get a beautiful, porcelain restoration in one convenient visit! Whether it’s a single dental crown, a bridge, or a full denture, this advanced digital technology, along with Dr. Jordan’s blend of artistry and skill, enables us to craft a restoration that will look and feel great for years to come.

3D Printer

Our 3D printer allows us to enhance your treatment and experience in a number of ways. If you come to us interested in a complete smile makeover, Dr. Jordan will craft a tangible 3D model of your mouth so you know what to expect from the results. If you require a nightguard or temporary restoration, we can also craft these in-house, allowing our team to provide you with the same-day appliances and restorations you need without prolonging the process. Our 3D printer also enhances the dental implant process by allowing Dr. Jordan to craft customized surgical guides for the precise placement of your implants.

Advanced 3D Imaging

The Cone Beam CT imaging system is a digital X-ray scanner that rotates once around your head while you stand or sit in a chair. The process is quick, simple and completely painless. The scans produced are as precise as conventional CT scans but use far less radiation.

3D Imaging provides high quality, detailed information that enables Dr. Jordan to understand your condition with much greater accuracy and precision than was possible before. Using these scans, Dr. Jordan can provide the best treatment in dental implants, root canals, diagnosis of dental and facial pain, etc. You can have absolute confidence and satisfaction knowing we have analyzed every problem with 3D technology.

Some other benefits include:

  • Safety: Dramatically reduced radiation exposure of up to 90% less than traditional dental films.
  • Treatment Improvement: Exquisite image clarity and magnified details offer significant improvement in Dr. Jordan’s ability to diagnose and treat conditions.
  • Comfort: Images captured instantly with a digital sensor lessen the time you spend in the dental chair.

Soft Tissue Laser

The soft tissue dental laser emits a concentrated beam of light out of the tip of it that can help kill harmful oral bacteria and vaporize tissue, allowing Dr. Jordan to offer laser gum disease treatment as well as simple, fast, and precise frenectomies. It also cauterizes the area on-contact, helping minimize post-operative discomfort, risk of infection, and bleeding.
